Some people have worries about whether they will be able to “be hypnotised” or not. So the simple answer to that is: if you can breathe, you can be hypnotised. Hypnosis is a deep state of relaxation. Deep breathing facilitates this process. Hypnotherapy isn’t weird, mystical, mythical, magical or unnatural.
In fact, we all enter this state of relaxation naturally when we daydream. Therefore the only difference is that during the session your eyes will be closed. However, if you have concerns please email or call me to discuss.
Finally, there are no side-effects or down-time using hypnotherapy. After a treatment session you will feel deeply relaxed. For this reason you will be able to return to work or your daily routine straight after. However, taking it easy is recommended. Hypnotherapy uses deep breathing techniques which oxygenate the body and helps eliminate toxins. Therefore I recommend drinking lots of water to help your body eliminate waste.
